No one wants their bank account to be hacked. So read our advice on how to choose a great password.
Pick something random.
If you pick something obvious, like your mother’s maiden name or the name of a much loved childhood pet, then any idiot will be able to figure out what to guess.
Tell no one.
Don’t discuss your passwords with anyone. Not your lover. Not your bother. And certainly not your brother’s lover.
Use different passwords.
It might make remembering your password easier, but if you have the same password for every account then if someone discovers your login for your social media account then they’ll also be able to access your bank online banking.
